Cake Smash Photography | St. Cloud Photo Studio

We had so much fun doing this cake smash photography session for Asher’s first birthday! Mom, Dad, and the birthday boy joined me at my St. Cloud photo studio for milestone pictures.

If we’re including portraits, I always like to start with those first—before things get too messy! We got some super cute shots of the little man and his parents, then got him all dressed up in an aviator hat to celebrate this one year milestone in his big adventure. Adorable! He really liked playing with my airplane props!

Once we’d gotten our pilot-themed baby pictures, it was time to break out the cake. Asher loved it! Some kids don’t know quite what to do when presented with their very own birthday cake, but Asher thought it was the best thing ever. He smashed it, smeared it all over himself, threw it around the studio—and even managed to get a little bit into his mouth. 😊 He was so excited he was waving his hands around and cake was flying everywhere! We laughed and laughed.

The fun this baby boy had with his cake illustrates perfectly why a bubble bath is the perfect way to wrap up a cake smash photography session. We got him all squeaky clean before he went home. Happy birthday, Asher—and thanks for letting me be part of your celebration!
