St. Cloud, MN Birthday Cake Smash Photographer

I totally love this sweet kiddo—or should I say little mermaid? I have been photographing her every three months since she was a newborn, and we always have a great time! This time around she was turning a year old, and as her St. Cloud, MN birthday cake smash photographer I was delighted to help her celebrate!

As any parent knows, every baby has their own particular likes and dislikes. One of this baby girl’s favorite things in the world is bath time! So Mom wanted a set that incorporated water. What could be better than a mermaid cake smash?

I love customizing sessions and have some favorite vendors that I use frequently. I ordered the cake from my preferred bakery, A Forgetful Baker (located near the studio in Eden Prairie). She is amazing and both I and my clients love her creations! And the incredible mermaid outfit was custom made by Flora N Style, who specializes in photo props and outfits. She is one of my faves and never disappoints!

Of course, while the birthday cake was the main event, we also made sure to get some family pictures and one-year baby portraits before the frosting started flying!
