St. Cloud, MN Newborn Photographer | Adelynn’s Newborn Session | Rainbow Baby Newborn

What a pleasure to be the St. Cloud, MN newborn photographer for this little lady! Adelynn’s newborn session went so well—even though she was awake almost the whole time! As a newborn photographer, I recommend parents bring little ones in when they’re less than two weeks old so they stay nice and sleepy. Makes it easier to get the classic poses and make sure baby stays happy. Adelynn wasn’t into naptime though! Luckily she was really good for me, which actually made our wakeful newborn photo session a lot of fun! It isn’t often that I get to capture so many images of a wide-awake baby.

Eventually Adelynn did fall asleep and we snuck in a few sleepy newborn poses—which were also adorable. (In case you were wondering, the slumber didn’t last long; good thing we work quickly!)

At the very end of the session mom told me that Adelynn is a rainbow baby. I’m so glad she told me so we could do something extra special to commemorate her older sibling in Adelynn’s baby pictures. Our session finished up beautifully as we swaddled her in a rainbow wrap and took a celebration photo. She is such a beautiful rainbow baby!
