It was quite the adventure getting these first birthday milestone photos! Scarlett was born right when COVID was hot, so newborn pics weren’t really an option for her. Now that things are opening up, mom and dad wanted to make up for it with a special, professional studio session for Scarlett’s first birthday.

Scarlett was a mover and a shaker, I’ve got to say! Every time we put her in a chair she wanted to jump right off. And when we tried the floor she was so fast scooting along on her little butt that we couldn’t keep her in place that way either! Always on the go! She was also teething, so it was a little tough to keep her happy, but we managed to get some great shots in spite of that. I just had to be really quick with the camera!

Her parents are hunters and farmers, and really liked the hunting themed backdrop and props after seeing them on my Facebook page, so we did that for several of our first birthday milestone photos, as well as a fun purple flower setup for the rest of our pictures. This little girl kept us on our toes, but it all worked out! Love the cute photos we were able to capture.
