Happy birthday, Natalie! We had such a great time doing this 1st birthday cake smash photo session. Natalie is an absolute doll and loved getting all fancied up for her milestone photos. But her favorite part? Definitely the cake! This is a baby girl after my own heart!

We got a few one year baby portraits first thing—doesn’t she look so cute? I always like to get a few of these before we bring on the sugar.

Natalie loves CoComelon and Baby Shark, so we played all her favorite songs throughout the session. For me, photography is about more than just recording memories—it’s also about making memories, so I want to make sure you and your little one have a fantastic time while you’re at my St. Cloud studio!

At last, the moment we’d all been waiting for! Natalie was so excited and smiley with her cake. She loved getting frosting on her hands and squishing it between her fingers. When we put her in the bath at the end of our 1st birthday cake smash session, she was having none of it. Bubbles are fun, but at that moment, she just wanted her cake back! Too cute.
